Financial freedom sounds like some motivational poster nonsense, but it’s actually just “not panicking about money every single month.”
It’s not about being rich enough to buy a yacht. It’s about having enough saved that losing your job doesn’t immediately mean losing your house.
Financial freedom means your money works for you instead of you working until you’re 70 for money that disappears as fast as it arrives.
The goal isn’t Bezos-level wealth. It’s “can take a year off if needed” wealth. It’s “unexpected car repair doesn’t ruin the month” wealth.
We grew up thinking financial freedom was retirement at 65 with a pension.
Turns out it’s really just having enough saved that you get to make choices instead of having them made for you.
