BAA rating

A Baa rating is relatively low risk, investment grade bond. It is the lowest of the investment grade bond ratings for corporate bonds.Bonds given a Baa rating are considered as medium-grade obligations. This means they are neither highly protected nor poorly secured. s the fourth highest of nine categories on the long-term rating scale. Because bonds with this rating are subject to moderate credit risk, they possess certain speculative characteristics.
